The S-K-S 197 is a PE-coated fabric adhesive tape with a very high initial adhesion. The adhesive tape is highly tear-resistant. SKS 197 has a matt surface to avoid light reflection. It is waterproof, adheres very well to rough and uneven surfaces and is easy to tear off by hand.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. The disc contains our precision grain, which has continuously sharp cutting edges, so it cuts through the material rather than scraping or ploughing through it like conventional abrasive grains.
