Polyester adhesive tapes 208 are adhesive tapes consisting of a polyester carrier with silicone adhesive. They are suitable for a range of applications at high temperatures, e.g. for masking workpieces during powder coating and for sealing packaging. Other possible applications include splicing and masking siliconised materials.

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
