Hook and loop tape consists of two pressure-sensitive, self-adhesive components that are permanently bonded to the substrate and can be reattached to each other several thousand times if required. One component has small hooks, the other has soft, flexible loops that are joined together by applying light pressure. Hook and loop tape is a controllable, concealed fastening system for the removable attachment of signs, pictures and exhibits. Areas of application for hook and loop tape can be found in the automotive and aircraft industries, in rail vehicle construction, in the electronics, advertising and decoration sectors, in medical equipment and aids, as well as in sports and leisure equipment.
