Variants
Three different applications can be covered with the universally applicable and easy-to-use Majpell vapour barrier: Intermediate and above-rafter insulation as well as external roof renovation. In combination with the proven SIGA high-performance adhesives, Majpell ensures permanently airtight building envelopes for interior roof, wall and ceiling constructions. With a fixed sd value of 5m, Majpell is particularly diffusible on the one hand. On the other hand, it offers maximum safety, as it also protects the construction from excessive moisture penetration during the construction phase, for example through freshly poured screed or newly plastered walls. This means that Majpell can replace variable vapour barriers, which are otherwise mainly used in roof renovations. If Majpell is combined with the Majcoat sarking membrane (sd value=0.1 m), an ideal moisture transport can be ensured with a diffusion gradient of 50:1.
