3M Scotch-Weld DP270 is a hard 2-component construction adhesive based on epoxy resin for the EPX system. The product with a long processing time is also used as a potting compound for electronics and has good thermal and electrical properties even when exposed to moisture. Furthermore, the potting compound develops only a low exothermic reaction during curing and does not corrode copper. Scotch-Weld DP 270 is UL-listed and was developed for bonding metals as well as for potting and protecting electrical and electronic components.

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
