3M Scotchcast casting resin 9 is a brown two-component system consisting of epoxy resin and hardener. It is a cold-curing multi-purpose resin of medium viscosity that remains medium flexible after curing. It is self-extinguishing and with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C, it belongs to insulating material class B. The filled moulding resin generates only a low exothermic reaction temperature, has good electrical values and can withstand high mechanical and thermal shock loads.
