This grinding disc is specially designed for stainless steel applications.

3M polyester film 54 is a particularly thin and elastic insulating tape that is characterised by its high adhesive strength. While the thermosetting rubber adhesive is extremely resistant to flagging, the backing has very high tear and abrasion resistance. The 0.06 millimetre thin adhesive tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of 5,500 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C, belongs to insulation class B. Get a fast and even cut for numerous applications with the 3M Silver cutting disc. It cuts quickly through metal tubes, sleeves, flat sheets and other workpieces. The disc contains our precision grain, which has continuously sharp cutting edges, so it cuts through the material rather than scraping or ploughing through it like conventional abrasive grains. This results in a significantly longer service life than conventional abrasives with ceramic grit and a consistently stable high cutting rate over the service life. The disc must be used with an angle grinder or cut-off machine (available separately) and should always be used with a protective cover for safety reasons.
