Since the "ceramic age" for flap discs, or fibre, cutting and roughing discs, the performance demands on hand-held power tools (e.g. angle grinders etc.) have increased enormously. Most devices can no longer withstand this additional friction and contact pressure in the long term. Grinders overheat very quickly, switch off automatically, or armatures and field packs burn out without further ado. Eisenblätter has taken up this challenge by further developing its ceramic flap discs and has further developed its speed-controlled angle grinder under the brand name VARILEX. The new VARILEX 1802 HT (High Torque) model now fulfils all performance requirements for state-of-the-art ceramic grinding discs of all kinds.
