Scotch insulating varnish is an acrylic resin-based insulating and coating varnish in red, black or grey. It is therefore particularly suitable for colour coding or as visual protection. It forms a flexible and resistant film that adheres excellently to all common materials such as metal, glass, plastic or wood. The varnish is resistant to acids, oil and alkalis as well as moisture, UV radiation and other weather influences. It is also characterised by extremely high dielectric strength. It is used as a protective coating on electrical connections, switches, switchgear, terminal boards, electronic components, coils, windings and sheet metal packages. It can also be used on electrical equipment in vehicles and for repairing electric motors, but also as a flexible protective coating for construction drawings and the like. It is temperature-resistant up to 120 °C. The insulating varnish is dust-dry after 15 minutes and fully cured after 120 minutes. Scotch Profi Tape 3430 fulfils all the requirements you have for a masking tape in modern vehicle painting. You can use it with all modern paint systems and also use it for wet sanding. It remains resistant to bleed-through and does not peel off even after several drying cycles. Its good immediate adhesion, high adaptability and strong adhesive strength ensure that the masking step is quick and easy. After use, it can be removed again without leaving any residue, so that you achieve a perfect end result.

Special plate made of elastic PUR plastic with click system, stabilising ribs and centring pin for 100% concentricity. Other threaded mounts (M10, 5/8") on request. Optional: Flexible, 6 mm thick damping adapter with Velcro fastening and a special damping layer. The centring pin is visible for exact centring of the grinding wheel.
