The inventor of hand-held longitudinal grinders is now presenting a further development of its well-known POLY-PTX series. The new longitudinal grinder POLY-PTX 802 HT (High Torque) offers for the first time a torque and performance profile that is unrivalled to date. Thanks to a newly developed planetary gearbox, the traction is distributed via 3 additional, cleverly arranged gear wheels, which massively increases the wear resistance of all drive components and turns the professional tool into an endurance runner. The handle has also been further developed by Eisenblätter and, with its new, rubberised inserts, offers optimum guidance for longitudinal sanding, satin finishing and polishing and a particularly good hand grip, which enables a more even, shadow-free sanding pattern. The drive spindle is made of corrosion-free stainless steel. All sanding tools can be fastened by hand without tools using a self-centring knurled screw. Even the protective cover for the sanding drum has been significantly improved and is made of robust and precise die-cast material, which can be replaced at any time with the optional extraction bonnet with extraction nozzle. Particular attention has been paid to the hose guide, which leaves free space at the sides when working. An additional, extendable polycarbonate protective cover protects the eyes from flying particles when using extra-wide sanding rollers up to 150 mm from our Eco Smart accessories. The new POLY-PTX 802 HT has been designed for extreme durability and value retention and represents a new level of quality and performance in the field of longitudinal sanders.
