Product information "S-K-S 991 Sandblasting tape Fabric tape, 3-ply on roll, 0.9mm, 200mmx25m silver"

Sandblasting adhesive tape 991 is used to create moulds for partial processing of various materials. It consists of a 3-ply fabric adhesive tape laminate and a rubber adhesive that adheres particularly well to polished surfaces and wood. The 0.85 millimetre thick material protects the bonded substrate from mechanical impact and damage, while the adjacent free surfaces can be processed. The silver colouring makes cutting or punching lines clearly visible and thus ensures precise work results. After use, the sandblasting tape can be removed without leaving any residue. Possible replacement for the discontinued 3M 510 and 3M 520.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. 3M 9703 is a dry transferable, double-sided adhesive film. 3M 9703 is electrically conductive in Z-axis and has good insulation in X- and Y-axis. The electrical conductivity is achieved by silver-coated nickel particles arranged in the Z-axis. These do not react in a magnetic field and are not affected in their alignment by vibration. The adhesive film connects flexible circuits with a medium distance electrically and mechanically to other flexible circuits, rigid printed circuit boards (PCB) or LCD screens. The electrically conductive film 9703 offers good adhesion to common PCB substrates such as copper, gold, FR 4 epoxy, polyimide and polyester films. Stable electrical performance in any flexible circuit interconnect application may require mechanical reinforcement (clamping).
