tesa 52994 consists of a highly transparent polyurethane film with a strong, permanent acrylic adhesive. The film was specially developed for outdoor use in the automotive industry and is particularly suitable for use on painted surfaces. The use of tesa 52994 offers you numerous advantages. The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
