The Scotch-Brite EXL pressed compact disc XL-UW is a pressed fibre fleece material that combines the best finishing properties with aggressiveness and a long service life. Thanks to its spring effect and flexibility, the material adapts ideally to any workpiece, does not change the geometry of the workpiece and also ensures reduced vibrations and improved user ergonomics during the application process.

When sharpening solid carbide or carbide-tipped tools, only discs with silicon carbide specifications should be used. Due to their special grain shape, you will achieve good results even on very hard workpieces. This disc can also be used for cast iron. A reduction ring set is already included in the packaging and can also be reordered.

The Scotch-Brite Deburr and Finish PRO compact deburring and finishing disc uses precision-moulded 3M grains bonded to a nylon cloth to deliver increased performance and life for deburring and finishing applications. Our pressed compact discs are soft but as wear resistant as iron to minimise disc changes.   Use the Scotch-Brite PRO compact disc for high grinding performance and long service life in deburring and finishing work. Our smooth-running pressed compact discs remove burrs quickly and cleanly. They are soft to prevent damage, but as strong and wear-resistant as iron and therefore need to be replaced less frequently. They are manufactured with precision-moulded ceramic abrasive grains bonded to a nylon mesh. The hardness of the ceramic material in combination with the self-sharpening grain extends the service life and work can be carried out more quickly without compromising the desired smooth result or the adjustable processing with Scotch-Brite abrasive discs. The PRO compact discs for deburring and finishing are ideal for OEM and pipework renovation and maintenance. These robust high-performance grinding discs reliably remove dirt, corrosion deposits and other contaminants without stressing or impairing the thread form. This means that pipework can be put back into operation more quickly.

3M 5490 and 5491 are extruded Teflon film adhesive tapes with highly heat-resistant silicone adhesive, which differ mainly in thickness. They have excellent chemical resistance, a low coefficient of friction and good adhesive-repellent properties. As the Teflon film is extruded, the tapes have an extremely smooth surface and do not curl up when unwound.

The 3M Scotchlok connectors with pluggable branch are suitable for all applications in installation, control, measurement and regulation technology where a pluggable electrical branch connection is desired or required. This makes installation much easier, particularly in switchgear construction and automotive electrics. With a cross-sectional area of between 0.5 and 3.0 square millimetres, they also enable connections to be made to uncut conductors. With the appropriate pluggable branch, the through-connection is then transformed into a branch connection in a single step. The Scotchlok connectors are available in the colours red, blue and yellow. They can withstand a maximum voltage of 600 volts and a maximum temperature of 105 °C. Their function is based on the principle of a U-element: the conductors to be connected are fed into the connector without having to be stripped beforehand. By applying light pressure with the Scotchlok pliers, the U-shaped elements remove the wire insulation, increase the contact surface and make contact with the conductor. The spring-loaded U-element encloses the individual conductors and ensures a mechanically strong, vibration-proof, electrically perfect and permanent connection. The Scotchlok connectors are all UL and C.S.A. listed.
