For demanding processing conditions The 3M polyester adhesive tape 8901 is a thin, pliable polyester adhesive tape that is ideal for masking tasks in high-temperature applications and adheres well to silicone-coated surfaces. The translucent blue backing film is tear-resistant. Coated with a silicone adhesive, the tape produces sharp coloured edges and is therefore very suitable for masking workpieces during powder coating, for example. It can be removed from most surfaces cleanly and in one go without fraying or tearing. This adhesive tape is also ideal for splicing silicone liners, paper and films that are exposed to high temperatures. Thanks to its good chemical resistance, this adhesive tape proves its worth in chemical processes and other demanding work procedures, such as anodising. The pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive is suitable for a wide temperature range between -50 °C and +204 °C. The 3M Scotchcast 92-NBA series cast resin connector set is designed for one to five-core, unshielded low-voltage plastic cables. It ensures the electrical insulation and mechanical protection of cable connections. The SVHC-free premium connector set, tested in accordance with EN 50393, can be used indoors and outdoors as well as in the ground or under water. The transparent, one-piece moulded shell can be folded up in no time at all and closes by automatically snapping into place. Pre-moulded, perforated foam seals are also used. This eliminates the previously time-consuming use of saws and adhesive tape for a tight seal. A GMG system (closed mixing and moulding) is used when casting the 3M Scotchcast casting resin 40 included in the scope of delivery. This virtually eliminates contact with the casting resin during processing. The transparent mixing bag guarantees visual control of the mixing process. After use, the mixing bag can be disposed of with the cured casting resin residue as normal household waste. Disposal as hazardous waste is not necessary.

Scotch glass fibre fabric tape 27 can withstand a breakdown voltage of 3,000 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C, belongs to insulating material class B. This makes it ideal for insulating electrical components that emit a lot of heat and as a protective winding against heat radiation. Like all glass fibre tapes, it is particularly tear and abrasion resistant. This ensures long-lasting functionality even under high mechanical stress, such as in electric motors.
