The TYROLIT Premium range is now being extended by 29 types to provide you with a choice of different grit sizes and other dimensions. The large number of grit gradations means that different surface structures and roughnesses can be achieved. TYROLIT fleece points are also available with an inserted abrasive cloth to achieve higher material removal and a coarser surface finish.

The 3M splicing tape 9351AL is a splittable adhesive tape for flying roll changes with a straight butt joint when splicing. It is equipped with a double-sided coating of repulpable acrylic adhesive and an easily removable protective paper (also repulpable). Our 3M splicing tape for flying splices 9351AL (repulpable) has a protective cover with notch line for easy manual application as well as an integrated sensor layer (not repulpable, replaces conventional aluminium sensor labels in the splice area). The aluminium sensor integrated into the adhesive tape eliminates the need for the reflective label previously required for splice detection. The repulpable adhesives offer good shear strength for coldset newspaper printing as well as heatset commercial printing and have been developed especially for good adhesion to a variety of coated papers. The separable layer has been modified in favour of an overall lower splitting force and higher reliability of the splice seam when running on belt driven presses. This product can also be used on core driven presses.

For heavy-duty grinding applications such as bevelling/chamfering, slag/roll scale removal, weld seam and edge finishing on a variety of metals, the 3M Silver rough grinding wheel is ideal. These abrasive discs contain our precision-formed abrasive grain, which has continuously sharp cutting edges so that it cuts through the material and does not scrape or plough through the material as with conventional abrasive grains. This results in a significantly longer service life than conventional grinding discs with ceramic grain and a consistently high removal rate over the service life. Use grinding discs together with suitable tools and accessories. The FPCs pre-assembled with 3M 9077 can be inserted into the lead-free soldering process (peak temperature 260°C, 20 sec.). The protective cover remains largely undamaged and can be easily removed. The acrylate adhesive film 9077 has good peel strength even at high temperatures. Due to the carrier material, this adhesive tape also has excellent punchability. The low outgassing of the adhesive minimises contamination of electronic components.
