Product information "Tyrolit Pendulum surface grinding ceramic conventional DxDxH 300x40x127 For carbide and cast iron, shape: 1, Art. 36918"
When machining carbide, the silicon carbide disc is a cost-effective variant for subordinate applications; its importance lies more in the machining of cast iron and non-ferrous metals. For nitrided workpieces with simple profiles or wear-resistant sprayed-on alloys, the silicon carbide disc is a good alternative, as it can be profiled with standard diamond dressing tools.

3M 618 is an excellent lacquer sanding tool on A-paper backing. Its open silicon carbide grit scattering and dust-repellent coating prevent premature clogging. It can be used both by hand and on orbital sanders.
tesafix 51570 is a double-sided adhesive tape with a non-woven backing and a synthetic rubber adhesive. The product is suitable for permanent bonding of metals, foams, displays and posters that are not exposed to high temperatures. The high mass application enables bonding on rough and textured surfaces and has a high initial tack.
When high flow rates, high filtration efficiency and consistent filtration characteristics are required from cartridge to cartridge, batch to batch, use the 3M™ Micro-Klean™ Series D filter cartridge. The filtration performance of the 3M Micro-Klean Series D filter cartridge is directly related to the special winding pattern of the yarn matrix and the winding process that applies a precisely fitting "media jacket" between yarn layers. The winding pattern creates much larger, diamond-shaped spaces for the contaminant, while the separately applied jacket seals these spaces and ensures the consistency and integrity of the filtration. The balanced filtration behaviour, as determined by these two factors, is difficult to achieve with normal wound filter cartridges, where only the roughened fibres of the yarn form the filtering medium. The winding pattern of the 3M Micro-Klean D series also offers less resistance to the media flow than normal wound cartridges. The 3M Micro-Klean D Series D filter cartridge has an open area up to 2 ½ times larger; this corresponds to a flow rate up to 500 % higher with an identical pressure drop. The filter concept works with effectively graduated density: more open filtration on the outside of the filter and highly effective fine filtration on the inner layer of the cartridge. This minimises clogging of the filtration surfaces by large particles and maximises the service life of the cartridge. One effect is lower replacement costs. The 3M Micro-Klean D series filter cartridges are available with nominal finenesses from 0.5 to 350 μm and various media, matrix and core materials for compatibility with different processes. The standard materials are cotton yarn and cotton cover for use in applications with water, alcohol and other polar liquids. The cotton materials and polypropylene yarns and jackets we use are FDA 21 CFR listed for use with drinking water, food and beverages. The filter cartridges can be ordered with cores made of galvanised steel, stainless steel or polypropylene. This choice of different core materials increases compatibility. A further selection of end caps and O-ring materials enables customisation to other filter housings.
Double-sided paper adhesive tape. The 3M 9040 tape has an aggressive adhesive with good immediate adhesion and shear strength at room temperature. It is suitable for bonding (holding, fastening, mounting, joining) on practically all surfaces, especially on low-energy plastics such as polyethylene or polypropylene. With its balanced combination of high adhesive strength/immediate adhesion and good shear strength at room temperature, 3M 9040 adhesive tape is suitable for a wide range of surfaces, including low surface energy plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. However, the surface should be carefully checked for compatibility before use. The 3M 9040 adhesive tape must not be exposed to organic or aromatic solvents.
The spacer films in the 3M 200MP adhesive series are designed in particular for the manufacture of membrane keypads and front panels, are shear-resistant (even with narrow webs), permanently elastic and highly resistant to ageing. The spacer films, which are temperature-resistant from -40°C and up to +120°C (up to +150°C for short periods), are chemically compatible with various conductive pastes and special colours and offer a high level of transparency. The spacer films do not bleed at the punched edges.
