The versatile round brushes for the sanding block are used in a wide range of industries. These brushes with silicon carbide are very hard and therefore enable very high removal rates. They are used for deburring work on various workpieces made of almost all materials such as steel, aluminium, stainless steel, copper, brass, etc., among others. Silicon carbide is also used for wood structuring. Wheel brushes with aluminium oxide are somewhat softer and therefore less abrasive. It is mainly used for wood structuring but also for light deburring work when very small edge rounding is required.
