The 3M Accuspray nozzle head for the PPS 2.0 series ensures excellent atomisation for a wide range of coatings and is an integral part of the 3M Accuspray spray gun system. These interchangeable, reusable nozzle heads are available in a range of sizes for optimum atomisation whether you are applying low viscosity coatings such as water-based materials, solvent-based paints or higher viscosity coatings. The heads are easy to clean, reuse or can be easily removed and replaced to have the performance of a new spray gun when needed. Other benefits include reduced priming requirements, shorter application and cleaning times and a better finish, reducing the need for sanding. Each interchangeable nozzle head is made of clear plastic so technicians can always see if the head is clean, reducing the need for cleaning. The interchangeable 1.8 mm nozzle heads are ideal for medium to high viscosity coatings such as paints and adhesives in the automotive industry. The 2.0 mm nozzle heads are normally used with our 3M Accuspray HGP spray gun, which is specially designed for the application of high volume, high viscosity fluids. Use these heads for the application of gelcoat coatings, adhesives, primers, thick film primers and speciality and sound deadening coatings. Other benefits include less primer required, shorter application and cleaning times and a better finish, reducing sanding time. Only compatible with the 3M PPS 2.0 series.

The 3M PPS 2.0 Series Kits are our next generation, high performance disposable cup systems for mixing/measuring, filtering and spraying in any direction (360° spray rotation) and protecting paints when not in use.  Each lid and inner cup kit contains 50 disposable lids with integrated sleeves and full-width filters, 50 disposable inner cups, 1 reusable hard plastic outer cup and 32 caps.

3M Acrylic Foam Adhesive Tape consisting of a grey acrylic foam with additional acrylic adhesive on one side. GTE6208 is characterised by good adhesion to a variety of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability and very good adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. The self-adhesive (SK) side is laminated to pre-treated plastic add-on parts and then applied to the painted bodywork or ABS. Typical applications include the attachment of add-on parts such as bumper protection strips, pillar trims, chrome strips and emblems.

3M Acrylic Plus adhesive tape made from a black acrylic foam with additional acrylic adhesives on both sides. Typical applications are fixings of rigid add-on parts such as spoilers, sills, aerial housings, roof rails and wheel arch extensions etc. where an aesthetically pleasing visible edge is required. PT1100 has very good adhesion to a wide range of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability and very good adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. The unique viscoelastic properties of PT1100 provide excellent stress relief in the bonded seam, resulting in extremely durable joints.

The 3M Accuspray pressure cup for 0.85 litre or 0.65 litre PPS, together with the 3M Accuspray pressure cup gun HGP, enables the application of even highly viscous materials such as underbody and stone chip protection or thick-film filler from any position. You can still use the practical 3M Accuspray nozzle heads - in any of the three sizes, depending on the degree of fineness of the desired spray pattern. The gun has a pressure outlet that is connected to the cup via a hose and generates an overpressure that acts on the PPS inner cup. A valve in the cup prevents this pressure from becoming too high. As the highly viscous materials can be processed with the 200µ sieve in this way, additional filtering is created that is not possible with conventional processing methods. After use, the empty inner cups can simply be disposed of as usual, while the reusable pressure cup remains clean. Single-component materials such as stone chip protection can even be stored in the gun for several days. The PPS pressure cup can also be connected to paint spray guns from other manufacturers. This means that the advantages of the closed paint processing system can also be utilised with other gun types.

3M Scotch-Weld 30 is a polychloroprene-based contact adhesive with a long bonding span and high instant adhesion. The product is toluene-free and is characterised by good water, light and temperature resistance as well as high flexibility. Scotch-Weld 30 is suitable for bonding wood, paper, cardboard, cork, felt, leather, textiles, glass, aluminium, coated metals, foam and plastics.
