3M 590 Polyurethane Adhesive and Sealant is high modulus with fast curing and can be used on plastics such as PMMA and PC as well as on glass. The product has a skin formation time of 30 minutes and can be painted over afterwards. 3M 590 is a polyurethane adhesive and was developed especially for bonding windows in vehicle construction and for bonding glass with a ceramic coating.

The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. The 3M sprayable seam sealant enables the exact reproduction of OEM structures in the engine compartment, on the floor panel and for overlapping connecting seams. The light grey one-component material made from modified silanes (MS) cures in the presence of humidity, but always remains flexible.
