3M Acrylic Foam adhesive tape made from a grey medium density acrylic foam. Typical applications include attachment of add-on parts such as bumpers, mouldings, emblems etc. GT6008 has good adhesion to a wide range of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability and very good conformability to the surfaces to be bonded. The uniform viscoelastic properties of GT6008 provide excellent stress relief in the bonded joint, resulting in extremely durable bonds.

The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. 3M Polyester Film 5 is a particularly thin and elastic insulating tape that is also highly resistant. While the acrylate adhesive is extremely resistant to solvents and "flagging", the carrier is characterised by very high tear and abrasion resistance. The 0.06 millimetre thin adhesive tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of 5,500 volts and belongs to insulation class B with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C. 3M Scotchcast Casting Resin 280 is a yellowish-transparent two-component system consisting of epoxy resin and hardener. It is a thermosetting multi-purpose resin with low viscosity that remains medium-flexible after curing. It is self-extinguishing and with a temperature resistance of up to 155 °C, it belongs to insulating material class F. The unfilled casting resin is extremely resistant to ageing and moisture and has excellent physical and electrical stability. Thanks to its good flow properties, it completely encloses even the smallest coils. Casting resin 280 is therefore ideal for impregnating coils and transformers by both impregnation and moulding.
