3M Scotch-Weld DP460 is a viscoplastic 2-component construction adhesive based on epoxy resin for the EPX system. The product with a long processing time achieves very high peel strength, high shear strength and is characterised by good ageing properties. Scotch-Weld DP 460 is UL-specified and has been developed for bonding metals such as aluminium, steel etc., plastics such as ABS, PA, PC, rigid PVC etc. and fibre composites.

Benutze ich schon lange, habe ich bei Air Berlin kennen gelernt. Jetzt ist es mein Lieblingskleber beim Modellbau. Die Klebkraft ist der Wahnsinn, dabei bleibt ein Rest Flexibilität.

Technisch absolut perfekt für Elektronikkomponenten auf Platinen - aber zu teuer

Der Klebstoff wird benutzt, um elektronische Bauteile auf einer Platine mechanisch zu fixieren. Der Kleber haftet sowohl auf dem Lötstoplack (Platinenoberfläche) als auch auf eloxiertem Aluminium (Kühlkörper). Großer Vorteil: Bei Verbindung zwischen zwei benachbarten Bauteilen fließt/tropft er nicht nach unten. Mit der Änderung des Verschlussstopfens gibt es jetzt auch keine Verbindung der zwei Komponenten mehr an den beiden Auslässen. Von der Anwendung her bin ich begeistert. Aber es sind nur 4 Sterne geworden, weil der Preis schon sehr, sehr hoch für einen Klebstoff ist.
