3M Scotchcal Opaque Colour Film Series 100 has been specially developed for processing on computer-controlled cutting systems. The films are suitable for use on flat or slightly curved substrates with or without rivets. They are ideal for cutting intricate small lettering or complex graphics. The transparent adhesive makes the product suitable for use on windows or other transparent substrates. Moulded PVC film (50 µm), solvent-based adhesive (removable with heat). Suitable for the production of small lettering. Functional life up to 12 years. Can also be applied in light beading and over rivets. 170 colours, including 50 metallic colours. With ABG for application on vehicle windscreens. Recommended transfer tapes: SCPS-100 (large formats), SCPS-2 (small formats).

The 3M Scotchlok tap connectors turn a through connection into a branch connection with just one movement. Simply plugged onto the matching Scotchlok connectors, they are suitable for all applications in installation, control, measurement and regulation technology where a pluggable electrical branch connection is desired or required. This makes installation much easier, particularly in switchgear construction and automotive electrics. With a cross-sectional area of between 0.5 and 3.0 square millimetres, they also enable connections to be made to uncut conductors. The Scotchlok connectors are available in the colours red, blue and yellow. They can withstand a maximum voltage of 600 volts and a maximum temperature of 105 °C. Their function is based on the principle of a U-element: the conductors to be connected are fed into the connector without having to be stripped beforehand. By applying light pressure with the Scotchlok pliers, the U-shaped elements remove the wire insulation, increase the contact surface and establish contact with the conductor. The spring-loaded U-element encloses the individual conductors and ensures a mechanically strong, vibration-proof, electrically perfect and permanent connection. The Scotchlok connectors are all UL and C.S.A. listed.
