3M ECG7053H is a single sided tape with good electrical conductivity and excellent attenuation/recovery properties that fills gaps very well while maintaining electrical grounding. This product provides conductivity through the thickness (Z-axis) and in the plane of the adhesive (X-Y planes) and is ideal for EMI / EMC sealing tape applications between common substrates such as metal surfaces (including metal coated substrates).

For degreasing, cleaning and preparing parts to be joined before bonding. Ideal for use on metals, many plastics and coloured surfaces. The cleaner is a mixture of isopropaneinl and distilled water (70:30). The surface should be checked for compatibility before use.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. 3M Scotchcast Reinsertable Electrical Insulation Resin 2123 is a soft, two-part polybutadiene resin encapsulant designed specifically for the protection of reinsertable splices. It is designed for virtually any electrical application that requires a soft, re-insertable resin with good handling and performance characteristics. This resin is also used as an insulating material for 1000 volt cable splices and is rated for continuous use at 194ºF (90ºC) with an overload rating of 266ºF (130ºC). It can be stocked to meet the majority of re-enterable resin requirements, eliminating the need for multiple encapsulation inventories. Scotch moulding resin 2123 is formulated with excellent wetting properties and low viscosity. The resin flows well even at low temperatures, filling the housing and minimising voids.
