Product information "3M Scotchcast 281 epoxy liquid resin, cream, part A+B, 8.16 kg"

3M Scotchcast casting resin 281 is a cream-coloured two-component system consisting of epoxy resin and hardener. It is a heat-curing multi-purpose resin with low viscosity that remains medium-flexible after curing. It is self-extinguishing and with a temperature resistance of up to 155 °C, it belongs to insulating material class F. The unfilled casting resin is extremely resistant to ageing and moisture and is physically and electrically extremely stable. It also has high mechanical and tensile strength. Thanks to its good flow properties, it completely encloses even the smallest coils. Casting resin 281 is therefore ideal for impregnating coils and transformers by moulding and for embedding electronic modules or transformers, etc.
