3M 266X is self-adhesive (PSA) on a 3 mil film backing with aluminium oxide grain and is available in grain sizes 0.3 - 3 - 9 - 12 - 30 - 40 microns. It is a 3M Lapping Film type P, i.e. it has a harder bonding system and is used for hard materials.

The 3M 423A fabric tape is often used for blending and finishing metal. Grit sizes from P120 to P1000. Suitable for manual, robotic and automated processes. This flexible abrasive belt is a good choice if a soft contact roller is used or if the belt sags a little.
