3M 265X is self-adhesive (PSA) on a 3 mil film backing with aluminium oxide grain and is available in 1 micron grain size. It is a 3M Lapping Film Type F, which has been specially developed for the processing of plastics.

3M ET 1205 Polyimide film, amber, 15 mm x 33 m, 0.08 mm

The 3M polyimide film 1205 is characterised above all by its extreme temperature resistance and very good dielectric properties. In conjunction with a solvent-resistant acrylate adhesive, it forms a powerful combination of mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical properties, which remain stable in a temperature range of -40 °C to +155 °C. This means that the insulating tape belongs to insulating material class F. The 0.076 millimetre thin adhesive tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of 7,500 volts and is flame-retardant in accordance with UL 510, making the polyimide film particularly suitable for applications where it is exposed to high temperature fluctuations, especially for masking contacts when soldering circuit boards. As it is printable, it can also be used for cable bundling and labelling, among other things.
