The 3M cold shrink fittings for medium voltage series QT II are used to insulate all plastic or rubber insulated cables. The products are supplied pre-stretched on a removable support spiral, enabling efficient and simple installation. An electrical field control integrated into the insulating body simplifies installation. Due to the specific properties of the insulating silicone body, a wide range of cable cross-section terminations are possible. The 3M termination sets for medium voltages are available both with and without mechanical lugs. 3M cold shrink fittings for medium voltage have been developed as a simple and safe solution for terminating medium voltage cables. One-piece creepage-resistant cold shrink termination made of HTV silicone rubber suitable for all VDE and TGL plastic-insulated 3-conductor cables.

The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
