The 3M Cold Shrink Fittings for Medium Voltage Series QS200 are designed for the unique cold shrink installation system. The products are supplied pre-stretched on a removable support spiral for efficient and easy installation. The electrical field control and Faraday cage, both integrated into the insulating body, simplify installation. The specific properties of the insulating silicone body allow a wide range of cable cross-sections to be connected. Connection fittings for medium voltage are available both with and without screw connectors. The 3M cold shrink fittings for medium voltage were developed as a simple and safe solution for connecting medium voltage cables.

Reduces installation time by using a cold-shrink insulating body in conjunction with an outer sheath using the familiar heat-shrink technique.
Increases installation safety by using a one-piece insulating body with integrated functions.
The connection set contains all the necessary sealing materials to create a longitudinal water seal.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
