It is highly resistant to moisture and changing weather conditions. It is a flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and adaptable in application. 3M Temflex 165 tape offers excellent mechanical protection with minimal bulk. It is UL, CSA and VDE certified, approved according to standard IEC 60454-3-1. 3M Temflex 165 vinyl insulating tape is based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and/or its copolymers and has a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape is 0.15 mm thick, UL listed and labelled as "flame retardant and cold resistant" according to UL standard 510. The tape can be applied at temperatures from 0 °C to 38 °C without affecting its physical properties. 99015LVC is a double-sided adhesive tape with a non-woven paper backing and low VOC and FOG values that has been specially developed for use in vehicle interiors. The non-woven paper backing offers dimensional stability during lamination, easy handling during processing and excellent die-cutting properties. The tape is stronger than conventional transfer tapes, has a short-term temperature resistance of up to 200 °C and is suitable for most demanding applications. The tape has been specially developed to meet the requirements of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers with regard to the JAMA and VDA-278 standard.

tesa 4578 is a bi-directional filament adhesive tape. It consists of a polypropylene film coated with polyester fibres. The synthetic rubber adhesive system is characterised by a good adhesive bond on various substrates, even on non-polar surfaces such as PE and PP. tesa 4578 also shows excellent adhesive strength on corrugated and solid cardboard.
