The 3M Cubitron 3 grinding disc is an extremely fast cutting and durable rigid bonded disc for weld removal and other heavy duty grinding applications. It has a recessed centre that allows grinding at any angle and is suitable for use on almost all materials, with a special formulation for stainless steel, mild steel and aerospace alloys. The 3M Cubitron 3 grinding disc uses the re-engineered 3M Precision Moulded Grain, which utilises proprietary micro-fragments of molecular bond technology. Their structure is created in such a way that they break continuously during the grinding process and always form many sharp cutting edges. These smooth, sharp edges help to create an abrasive that cuts faster, grinds cooler and lasts much longer than conventional abrasives. 3M Cubitron high performance abrasives are designed for professionals who demand more from their equipment.
