Thanks to the patented 3M Cubitron II technology, an extremely fast cut (up to 40% time saving potential) with high removal rates is achieved in the sanding process. In addition, the Cubitron II abrasive belt achieves 2 to 7 times the service life of other products. The strong, resistant ZF cloth backing has high edge strength and stability, prevents the belt from sanding through and actively supports the powerful abrasive grain. The 3M 994F is particularly impressive when used for chamfering and heavy-duty sanding on aluminium.

The 3M Cubitron II Hookit Purple+ Premium grinding disc Multihole 737U contains the world's most advanced 3M Cubitron II high-performance abrasive grain. The robust triangular grains are electrostatically aligned and sharpen themselves precisely thanks to their special properties. This not only enables higher removal rates, but also up to twice the service life of conventional premium abrasives used in the industry. These precision properties combined with the multi-hole configuration for optimum dust extraction make the product ideal for removing paint, filler and preparing for sanding with finer grits. Our Hookit system enables a quick change between different grits.

The 3M polyester film 74 is an extremely thin and elastic insulating tape. The adhesive tape, which is only 0.02 millimetres thick, can withstand a breakdown voltage of 3,500 volts and is class B insulating material with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C. While the thermosetting rubber adhesive is particularly resistant to flagging, the backing has very high tear and abrasion resistance. The yellow polyester film is suitable for coil applications in confined spaces.
