Accident rates can be significantly reduced with the 3M Diamond Grade 983 vehicle marking. This is confirmed by comparative studies. Around a third of all lorry accidents occur in unfavourable weather conditions, at dusk and in the dark. This prompted legislators to make retro-reflective vehicle markings mandatory for certain commercial vehicles. The 3M Diamond Grade vehicle markings are characterised by their microprismatic film with a high reflective value. It offers bright and clear colours during the day and at night. In addition, the film does not require an aluminium coating, so that no corrosion is possible. The contour marking is self-adhesive and edge-sealed against dirt and moisture and is easy to apply. The advantages of the reflective film include improved visibility of the vehicle as well as better assessment of distance and speed, an inexpensive measure for greater personal safety and reduced downtime potential due to possible accidents. In addition, the vehicle is visually enhanced by the contour marking, which means an image gain for the company. The 3M Diamond Grade 983 vehicle marking was specially developed for vehicles with fixed bodies. Colour: brilliant yellow. Roll dimensions: 55 mm x 45.70 m. ECE010 approval.
