The 3M double-sided silicone adhesive tape with polyester carrier 96042 is an excellent solution for bonding silicone substrates such as silicone foam and silicone rubber. It also has good adhesive strength on adhesive-repellent silicone surfaces and has the advantage of a more consistent adhesive layer thickness compared to liquid silicone adhesives. The tape also has noise and vibration-reducing properties. Its high temperature and solvent resistance as well as its good dimensional stability ensure long-lasting functionality, which is reflected in direct cost savings. At the same time, the protective cover on one side only reduces the amount of waste, while the polyester carrier facilitates handling and processing. 99015LVC is a double-sided adhesive tape with a non-woven paper backing and low VOC and FOG values that has been specially developed for use in vehicle interiors. It can be used to bond common foam materials such as PU ester foams and EPDM as well as other high and low energy substrates. The non-woven paper backing offers dimensional stability during lamination, easy handling during processing and excellent die-cutting properties. The tape is stronger than conventional transfer tapes, has a short-term temperature resistance of up to 200 °C and is suitable for most demanding applications.
