The 3M Dual Lock flexible press fastener consists of a polyolefin carrier with small mushroom heads which, when pressed together (audibly), form a stable connection that can be released up to once. Three mushroom head densities can be combined with each other and thus generate different holding forces - depending on requirements. The SJ387 product family, equipped with a high performance modified acrylic adhesive, is suitable for bonding to a wide range of materials, e.g. high and low energy plastics, metals and many powder coatings.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
