Use the 3M Hookit 260L+ Purple sanding disc for even finish results - our sanding discs are made of fast sanding and robust mineral abrasive made of aluminium oxide. The discs are ideal for sanding clear lacquer and removing dust inclusions or orange peel before applying new lacquer or polishing the lacquer. The discs can be easily removed from the backing pads. They are quicker and easier to use than matting discs and are faster and cleaner than products for wet sanding applications. Use the discs for sanding the paint area before it is painted.

The precision-moulded abrasive grain cuts evenly through the metal, has a permanently sharp effect and achieves a clean, low-burr and even surface. The range of pressed compact discs extends from an aggressive and rigid deburring tool to a soft tool for a perfect surface finish. They are particularly suitable for hard-to-reach areas and do not change the surface geometry of the workpiece in any way when used. The main areas of application are deburring, cleaning, blending, finishing and the processing of weld seams. Compact discs offer increased safety compared to other deburring tools and a particularly cool finish.
