The 3M glass fibre reinforced polyester film 1339 combines the good electrical properties of a polyester film with the high stability of a glass fabric tape. The 0.165 millimetre thick insulating tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of 5,500 volts and has an extremely high tensile strength. With a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C, it belongs to insulating material class B. The polyester film is coated with a solvent-resistant acrylate adhesive. You can therefore use it well wherever solvents are indispensable in the application. This includes fastening applications and coil taping. It is also particularly suitable for improving impregnation with resins and lacquers.
