Product information "3M ET 1350T-1 Polyester film, yellow, 1219 mm x 66 m, 0.08 mm"

The 3M polyester film 1350-T-1 is a carrier consisting of three layers of polyester film with a coating of acrylate adhesive. Due to the thicker backing material, its insulation performance is significantly stronger. While the adhesive is particularly resistant to solvents and "flagging", the carrier is characterised by very high tear and abrasion resistance. The 0.08 millimetre thick, flame-retardant adhesive tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of 7,000 volts and belongs to insulating material class B with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C. The polyester film is particularly suitable for cover tapes on coils and capacitors.

3M polyimide film 92 is characterised above all by its extreme temperature resistance and very good dielectric properties. In conjunction with a high-quality silicone adhesive, it forms a high-performance combination of mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical properties, which remain stable in a temperature range from -40 °C to +180 °C. The insulating tape therefore belongs to insulating material class H. The 0.076 millimetre thin adhesive tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of 7,500 volts and is flame-retardant in accordance with UL 510. The polyimide film is therefore suitable for applications where it is exposed to high temperature fluctuations, particularly for masking contacts when soldering circuit boards.
