Product information "3M Envision Translucent Colour Film 3730-015L Yellow 1.22m x 45.7m"

The 3M Envision Translucent Colour Film Series 3730 is the first to be specially optimised for use with LED light sources. Its increased light transmission takes into account the greatly improved homogeneity of light distribution with LED light sources compared to classic fluorescent tube or neon lighting. The lower loss of luminosity compared to conventional translucent coloured films (e.g. 3M Scotchcal Translucent Coloured Film Series 3660) enables savings to be made in the number of light sources - leading to energy savings and reduced operating costs. Moulded PVC film (50 µm), solvent-based adhesive (permanent). Functional life up to 10 years. Can be applied wet, thermoformable. 20 matt colours. Recommended transfer tapes: SCPM-19 (large formats), SCPS-100 (small formats). Optimised for illuminated advertising with LED light sources: up to 60% higher translucency.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
