Non-metallic, microprismatic reflective film specially designed for the production of retroreflective, durable traffic signs, construction site equipment and beacons that are used vertically. Provides good reflectivity and durability over many years with improved optical properties to increase safety at night. Its special prismatic structure ensures a high level of reflection in numerous traffic situations. Microprismatic reflective film with marking for the production of RAL quality traffic signs, signposts and traffic facilities in accordance with DIN 67520 (RA2,C) and DIN 6171, Part 1. - It meets the colour and performance requirements of EN12899-1:2007, class RA2. The 3M™ High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Film Series 3930 is approved for the production of traffic signs with European Technical Approval (ETZ).
- Long-lasting - harder surface provides better protection against abrasion and scratches.
- The reflective values, colour contrast, legibility, luminosity and durability of 3M™ High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Film Series 3930 are consistently much better than those of films with embedded glass beads (RA2).
- The manufacturing process for the films is also much more environmentally friendly than that for other reflective films. VOC emissions are reduced by 97%, energy consumption by 77% and waste generation by 46% compared to the production of films based on glass beads
