For a smoother and higher quality finish, use the 3M Hookit Interface Pad Soft. If the 3M Hookit Interface Pads Soft are used between our Hookit backing pads and Hookit sanding discs, they provide additional cushioning and deformability in sanding processes where maximum precision is required on uneven surfaces. In addition, vibrations that frequently occur when using random orbital sanders are dampened, which also has an effect on the quality of the surface finish.
