3M Microbe Removal Cleaning Wipes are dry cleaning wipes made of non-woven fabric. 3M technology allows microbes to be captured and retained in the wipe when wiping with these wipes. The wipes, used with water only, instantly remove 99.9% or more of microbes*, including viruses and bacteria, from hard, non-porous surfaces. No soak time is required when used with water. The addition of chemicals is not necessary when using 3M Microbe Removal Cleaning Wipes. Unused, dried-out cleaning cloths in the container can be rewetted at any time and can be used immediately.

3M Microbe Removal Cleaning Wipes can be used on a variety of hard, non-porous surfaces such as metal, ceramic, laminate and plastic. These wipes are used in areas such as healthcare, education, offices, retail, hospitality, factories, warehouses, transport, etc. Examples of surfaces or objects that need to be cleaned include door handles, classroom desks, workstations, shopping trolley handles, retail checkout lanes, registration counters, patient rooms and lounges, operating theatres, nursing stations, communal areas and company vehicles. With a prepared cleaning cloth, microbes, viruses and bacteria can be removed from a hard, non-porous surface of 4.65 m² when used correctly. Surface condition and soiling, cleaning process and control and preparation of the  cleaning cloths can reduce the area specification.
