The 3M contact roller spring is used for the solderless connection of the copper braided sleeving, earth wire or the flat scribe of a plastic cable with its copper tape or copper wire shielding. However, it is also suitable for steel-armoured and lead-sheathed cables. It is therefore ideal for use with power and telecommunications cables as well as control cables. The rolling spring principle ensures dynamic contact pressure at all times. The rolling spring made of spring steel with good corrosion resistance is easy to install and has long-lasting good functionality.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
