The 3M Peltor Optime III earmuffs have been specially developed for high noise levels and combine effective protection with maximum wearing comfort. The black earmuffs have an attenuation value of SNR=34dB. The high level of safety of the Optime III is based on the innovative double-shell technology, which minimises resonance inside the capsule and provides maximum attenuation of high frequencies. The advantage: conversations and warning signals are still easy to understand. An acoustic connection between the inside of the capsule and the space between the shells also achieves optimum attenuation of low frequencies. The soft, wide foam sealing rings ensure a perfect fit. The generous space under the capsules minimises heat build-up and perspiration and offers a comfortable fit. The two-point suspension made of stainless steel ensures consistently low contact pressure even when used continuously. The headband is variably adjustable and adapts perfectly to any head shape thanks to its ergonomic shape. The 3M Peltor Optime III can be used at airports, in cement production, in ship engine rooms, in mining and in power stations. Matching hygiene sets ensure hygienic and economical use of the earmuffs.

The 3M Peltor safety helmet G3000 with 3M Uvicator Sensor was developed in close cooperation with industry and forestry and fulfils the highest protection requirements. The patented sensor indicates when the helmet has lost its protective effect due to excessive UV radiation and should be replaced. The G30MUO model made of UV-stabilised ABS plastic is orange and equipped with a headband with a ratchet fastening system and a sweat leather. The ratchet fastening system ensures extremely precise and easy adjustment to the wearer's head size. The extra short peak ensures optimum visibility. The interior can also be rotated by 180 degrees so that the helmet can also be worn with the peak on the back of the neck. This and the slim, round shape significantly reduce the risk of getting caught and make working in confined spaces or climbing trees noticeably easier. An optional chin strap, which is available as an accessory and can be attached to the helmet's three-point fastening system, ensures customisation to the shape of the head and a perfect fit. Unlike conventional safety helmets with ventilation, the G3000 has significantly more ventilation slots. This maximum permissible ventilation area on the top of the helmet shell ensures an exceptionally high level of wearer comfort, even during physically strenuous work in warm environments. Thanks to the special profile design, it is also easy to attach earmuffs or visors. The 3M Peltor safety helmet G3000 with 3M Uvicator can be used in forestry, industry and construction. The helmet is suitable for head widths from 53 to 62 centimetres.
