They are used to attach PELTOR multi-visors and PELTOR earmuffs with the P3* attachments to 3M safety helmets or the helmets of other selected manufacturers. With this adapter, you can attach the P3 Series X and Optime earmuffs for helmet attachment to all Series M blower headpieces.

The 3M Versaflo helmet head piece M-307 offers respiratory, eye and face protection as well as head protection in accordance with EN397. It is also characterised by its flame-retardant face cover. The flexible, clear polycarbonate visor with a scratch-resistant coating offers optimum protection against mechanical and chemical hazards. Handling is very easy: thanks to a standardised QRS connection, the air hoses can be rotated freely and can be connected and disconnected with one hand. The ratchet fastener allows the headgear to be adjusted quickly and individually. The M-306 is ideal for use in all industrial areas where head protection is required in addition to respiratory, eye and face protection and where sparks or open flames are also likely, for example in tunnelling or foundries. This white safety helmet is equipped with a patented 3M UVicator sensor, which changes colour from red to white when exposed to harmful UV radiation. Exposure to UV radiation can cause the helmet shell to become brittle, limiting effective protection. The colour change of the sensor indicates when the helmet should be replaced. The existing notches and brackets for accessories are compatible with a wide range of 3M protective visors, earmuffs and other accessories. Note: The X5000 can be worn in either EN 12492 (mountaineering helmets) or EN 397 (industrial safety helmets) mode, but it cannot fulfil both EN standards at the same time.

The 3M Peltor Optime I earmuffs are particularly lightweight and perfect all-round protection for many areas of use. It has yellow earmuffs with an average attenuation value of SNR=26dB. Thanks to its very slim profile, the Optime I can be perfectly combined with other protective equipment and is extremely comfortable to wear. The generous space under the capsules minimises heat build-up and perspiration, making the Optime I ideal for both short and long periods of use. The soft, wide sealing rings are filled with a unique combination of liquid and foam, thus ensuring particularly low contact pressure and an optimum seal. Another convenient feature is the spring steel bracket with two-point suspension made of stainless steel, which also ensures consistently low contact pressure. The headband is variably adjustable and adapts to any head shape thanks to its ergonomic shape. The 3M Peltor Optime I is suitable for moderate noise exposure, for example in workshops, metalworking companies, precision engineering, the construction industry, the automotive industry and leisure activities.
