3M Scotchcast 91-ND 11 Cast resin termination, cable DM 14 - 30 m

The 3M Scotchcast cast resin terminator 91-ND protects wire splay points against the ingress of moisture. It is suitable for use in indoor installations on one to four-core low-voltage cables. It consists of a two-part termination body with a tongue and groove closure, which is moulded with Scotchcast 470 casting resin, which fulfils the test requirements of VDE 0278-631-2. No additional installation tools are required and even retrofitting is possible. The termination has a high mechanical strength and complies with the test conditions of VDE 0278 Part 623. In addition to the sealing body and the cable resin, the scope of delivery also includes emery cloth and sealing tape. A GMG system (closed mixing and moulding) is used when casting the 3M Scotchcast casting resin 470 included in the scope of delivery. This virtually eliminates contact with the casting resin during processing. The transparent mixing bag guarantees visual control of the mixing process. After use, the mixing bag can be disposed of with the cured casting resin residue as normal household waste. Disposal as hazardous waste is not necessary.
