The 3M Adflo blower unit is respiratory protective equipment which, in combination with an approved headpiece, provides the user with a high level of protection and comfort during welding and related activities. The blower unit has a particle filter, a spark arrester, a pre-filter and a 5-stage filter saturation indicator that shows the user the status of the particle filter. Optional gas filters offer additional protection against common gases and vapours that can occur during welding. Furthermore, an optional odour protection filter can be used to protect the user from unpleasant odours. The blower unit has an automatic air flow control which ensures that the air flow to the head section is always constant.
