Thanks to its spring effect and flexibility, the material adapts ideally to any workpiece, does not change the geometry of the workpiece and also ensures reduced vibrations and improved user ergonomics during the application process.

The 3M glass fabric tape 79 can withstand a breakdown voltage of 3,000 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 155 °C, belongs to insulating material class F. This makes it ideal for insulating electrical components that emit a lot of heat and as a protective winding against heat radiation. Like all glass fibre tapes, it is particularly tear and abrasion resistant. This ensures long-lasting functionality even under high mechanical stress, such as in electric motors.
