This abrasive disc differs from other Scotch-Brite™ abrasives due to the 3M precision-moulded ceramic grain. The mineral we have developed, which is incorporated into the abrasive, is characterised by its hardness and strength. It self-sharpens to deliver consistent results. The sharp-edged abrasive mineral can adapt to irregular surfaces and contours thanks to the soft nylon fibres. Dust and abrasion can escape through the gaps in the fibres to prevent clogging. Versatile indoor and outdoor applications Pressed compact discs differ from other discs in their layer structure: The open fleece is cured and compressed for added strength and durability. Due to the unique manufacturing process, compact discs are well suited for processing edges and contours. In addition, the disc can be used in both directions of rotation.
