The Scotch-Brite Deburr and Finish PRO compact deburring and finishing disc uses precision-moulded 3M grains bonded to a nylon cloth to deliver increased performance and life for deburring and finishing applications. Our pressed compact discs are soft but as wear resistant as iron to minimise disc changes.   Use the Scotch-Brite PRO compact disc for high grinding performance and long service life in deburring and finishing work. Our smooth-running pressed compact discs remove burrs quickly and cleanly. They are soft to prevent damage, but as strong and wear-resistant as iron and therefore need to be replaced less frequently. They are manufactured with precision-moulded ceramic abrasive grains bonded to a nylon mesh. The hardness of the ceramic material in combination with the self-sharpening grain extends the service life and work can be carried out more quickly without compromising the desired smooth result or the adjustable processing with Scotch-Brite abrasive discs. The PRO compact discs for deburring and finishing are ideal for OEM and pipework renovation and maintenance. These robust high-performance grinding discs reliably remove dirt, corrosion deposits and other contaminants without stressing or impairing the thread form. This means that pipework can be put back into operation more quickly.

The microfinishing film on a 3-mil backing with aluminium oxide abrasive grain is available in grit sizes from 9 to 100 microns. The disc is equipped with a dust-repellent coating - FreCut - which significantly increases the service life. The back of the disc has a Velcro fastening for quick tool changes.

The purple 3M EMS iD pen marker - In general, it makes marking and subsequently locating underground lines, sleeves, pipes and cables very easy. It can be located and read up to a maximum depth of 60 centimetres in the ground. It is insensitive to minerals, chemicals and temperature changes and is therefore suitable for all types of soil. Due to its cylindrical shape and small size of 76 x 20 millimetres, it is ideal for subsequent marking in sealed surfaces such as asphalt, concrete or rock. The electronic markers are recognised as the most reliable method of marking existing or newly installed facilities - even under snow. Their function is not affected by metal ducts or pipes, fences or high-voltage power lines. The EMS iD markers are supplied with an individual, pre-programmed serial number. This serial number is also attached to the marker in the form of a removable, self-adhesive sticker with a barcode and can be stuck directly onto the cable/location plan. If the iD marker receives the "Read"-Signal from a 3M Dynatel marker locator, it transmits the information previously stored in it. The iD markers can be temporarily or permanently programmed to store user-defined information such as cable or joint data, type of application or other important details. Once this data has been read by the locator, it can be transferred to a PC via an RS232 serial connection. These active iD pen markers are also compatible with older, passive markers.
