Newly developed for your requirements. Introducing the next step in surface finishing technologies: Scotch-Brite precision non-woven discs. This new addition to the Scotch-Brite range promises the consistency you have come to expect, with faster stock removal and longer abrasive life. By combining two outstanding 3M technologies - fleece and the 3M precision-moulded ceramic grain - you can now achieve an ideal finish even faster. To help you work even more efficiently, these discs are available in brighter, more vibrant colours to make them easier to distinguish. In addition, the range of grits has been extended to include fine and extra coarse versions, giving you an even wider choice of solutions for your abrasive needs.

Improve your work processes. These high quality general purpose abrasive discs are designed to optimise the steps involved in surface finishing, including cleaning, blending, deburring and finishing. Typical substrates include aluminium and soft metals, carbon steel and stainless steel. Applications range from the removal of coatings and corrosion to the finishing and post-processing of castings.

Properties

The newly formulated multi-purpose discs feature the 3M precision-moulded grain incorporated into the fleece, which means that the Scotch-Brite product range is characterised by even better productivity and longer service life.
The 3M precision-moulded grit is a triangular-shaped ceramic abrasive grit with sharp, angular structures that continuously break off during the sanding process, constantly forming new, sharp cutting edges.
Available in the grit sizes VFN, FIN, MED, CRS and XCRS for work with low contact pressure on typical substrates such as aluminium, soft metals, carbon steel and stainless steel.

3M 1423-XR/iD EMS iD ball marker - water, blue

The blue 3M EMS iD ball marker - Water makes the marking and subsequent location of underground water pipes extremely easy. It can be located to a maximum depth of 1.20 metres, is insensitive to minerals, chemicals and temperature changes and is therefore suitable for all types of soil. The free-floating design in a watertight PE sphere ensures that the marker always aligns itself exactly horizontally, regardless of the installation position. The liquid inside the sphere is a mixture of water and propylene glycol, which is biodegradable and harmless to humans, fauna and flora. The electronic markers are considered the most reliable method of marking existing or newly installed facilities - even under snow. Their function is not affected by metal ducts or pipes, fences or high-voltage power lines. The EMS iD markers are supplied with an individual, pre-programmed serial number. This serial number is also attached to the marker in the form of a removable, self-adhesive sticker with a barcode and can be stuck directly onto the cable/location plan. If the ball marker receives the "Read"-Signal from a 3M Dynatel cable locator, it transmits the information previously stored in it. The iD markers can be temporarily or permanently programmed to store user-defined information such as cable or joint data, type of application or other important details. Once this data has been read by the locator, it can be transferred to a PC via a serial RS232 connection. These active iD ball markers are also compatible with older, passive markers.
